Sylvia Henheffer

Founder and Mindfulness Coach

Meet Sylvia Henheffer, and her journey of self-discovery, Sylvia realized that working in Gov’t and the corporate world was not fulfilling her purpose; and so she decided to become an entrepreneur, working with small businesses where she honed her ability to cultivate synergy with individuals within the business world.

Driven by her core values of freedom and flexibility, Sylvia's entrepreneurial ventures allowed her to forge her own path while immersing herself in personal growth. Through this journey, she embraced a practice of gratitude and became a certified Mindfulness coach which contributed to a harmonious and balanced lifestyle.

Sylvia’s background in working with individuals and groups at a volunteer level in the community, connected her to many like minded people in giving back. She believes that not only giving back in the world of volunteering, she feels a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose while making a difference in others lives and impacting communities.

Sylvia continues to volunteer and give back by co-chairing the local Habitat for Humanity- Yorkton Chapter, volunteering in several community events, such at the Health Foundation, Cuts for Cancer plus working with 4-H Leader; Yorkton Air Cadets; Yorkton Film Festival;

Recognizing the value of her gifts, she joined forces with visionary partner Laurie Renton to establish the Visionary Hub—a dynamic platform dedicated to fostering learning and growth for individuals, groups, and business teams.

At the heart of Sylvia's approach lies her unwavering commitment to work with individuals by unlocking their full potential, and cultivating harmony within their interactions. 

On the days that Sylvia is not serving others, she spends her days in her back yard gardening, on the water kayaking, and as much time in nature as possible, hiking and camping. She loves spending quality time with her friends and family who give her life meaning and purpose. 

Sylvia continues to live a life of Gratitude as she knows when gratitude is her focus all things are possible.

Laurie Renton

Founder and Adventurepreneur

Laurie Renton was the founder and CEO of LR Future Insurance and Investments, which opened its doors in 1994. As a business owner, Laurie’s vision of building relationships with value in both clients and internal team was where it all began. Her focus became not just the resource of money but the enrichment in all areas of her life and the lives of others, incorporating Personal Values, Personalities, and Ideas for the future.

Laurie’s love of her community led to her involvement in many organizations and groups like Yorkton Business Improvement District, Women Entrepreneurs - Parkland chapter, Habitat for Humanity-Yorkton, Economic Development Advisory Committee and many more. Laurie’s love of business led her to get involved on the Ventures Community Futures Board.

Following the sale of her financial business after 27 years, she decided to ReFire rather than retire. Her and a business partner launched “The Visionary hub,” a comprehensive and innovative approach to learning for individuals, groups, and business teams. Rather than just an entrepreneur, Laurie calls herself an Adventurepreneur. She is a member of the Self-Education Revolution, Women Igniting Change, and the Points of You Tribe.; it’s all about organizing information for greater peace of mind.

Laurie has had the honor of receiving many awards such as: Yorkton Chamber of Commerce Community Involvement and Business Excellence Award and then personally, the Visionary Award at the Yorkton Short Film Festival and the YWCA Entrepreneurship and Innovation award which truly fits the work she is doing today. As a Miracle Minded and Dream Builder Coach Laurie continues to guide people into Living their best lives as well as Team Building in Organizations. Her Motto is: Be the Change you Wish to see in the World of Business.

Laurie’s love of learning new things has led her to an innovative breakthrough system called the “New Paradigm Toolkit,” which she has been assisting in the prototyping testing over the past fifteen years, focusing on Values, Education, and Communication tools training. One of her favorite quotes by Buckminster Fuller is, “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

Nature and lake life have taken Laurie and her partner, Rob, to their new home at Burgis Beach, where Laurie’s family has had a cabin for over 40 years. She spent many summers at the cabin, where she created grandma’s camp, not only for her grandchildren but for the neighbors’ grandkids as well. Having fun and building memories for everyone, she is now involved in her community there.

Laurie’s saying of “Create a Great Day” and her infamous heart-to-heart hugs reflect her unwavering commitment to spreading positivity and love, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touches.

This process I was able to experience at the Visionary Hub called the Hub Factor gave me an opportunity to explore beyond just my own thoughts but the insight from others around the table, which opened me up to different perspectives.
